So many of our friends have asked us, where are you going for Thanksgiving? To this I answer. We are heading up to the northern part of Minnesota where snow is a given for this season to be with our daughter and family. She has the house cleaned, a room ready for us and lots of good meals planned. All too soon our ten days will pass and we will have to return to warm sunny Southern California probably a few pounds heavier. I say "have to" because it is always hard to part from our family.
For the life of me I cannot come up with anything profound to write tonight about thanksgiving. Oh I could draw from others or even copy something from the web and try to embellish this post. My heart is simple tonight so here is my simple prayer for you who stop by. "I pray God be in your thanksgiving...that He is bigger than the turkey on the table, sweeter than the pie you will consume. I pray your conversation will be filled more with His name then any other. And I pray you will also be with family that is hard to part with.
Psalm 107:1 "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
