Family Coming Home...

Logan, Scarlett, Tony, Tara and Ava Jo

They are coming home...in less then 24 hours we will  wrap arms around our daughter and her family.  Four years have passed since they walked on US soil.    Because they have come from  land of few choices, (Papua New Guinea) they will be overwhelmed at the abundance of choices they have to make after arriving here. Their one year home assignment will pass so quick then they will return to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who have not heard.

If you would like more information on their ministry you can look on New Tribes Mission web site or connect with them: tony_sutton@ntm.org.  They are open to come share at your church or small group what God is doing in Papua New Guinea.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.”

  2. Thanks Bill...they will spend 10 days with us in California. Then we will driving with them to Missouri where we are attended a conference our mission puts on every other year. I feel their excitement tonight. Ace is stuck in St. Louis due to flight cancelled. He had been in Illinois with his sister who died yesterday. He was trying to get back to be here when we pick the family up at the airport. Praise God he is safe, lots of tornadoes there and I am sure you guys got some bad weather also. Enjoy your vacation.

  4. They have arrived and some taking a nap, some taking a shower, some watching TV. They may take a trip to Wal-Mart, every missionaries dream store later today...if they feel like going out. I still get over whelmed in stores, start sweating, need to get out in the open and we have been home a year and half. Thank for commenting Rehoboth...

  7. Beautiful story! So happy you can have your family home! We were missionaries to Latvia in the Baltics and had to come home last year because of my SI joint issues, awaiting surgery now. But aching to return. God bless you and your family for all you are doing for the Kingdom's sake!!
