Ministry is:
Giving when you feel like keeping
Praying for others when you need to be
prayed for
Feeding others when your own soul is
hungry
Living truth before people even when you
can’t see results
Hurting with other people even when your
own hurt can’t be spoken
Keeping your word even when it is not
convenient
Being faithful when your flesh wants to
run away

ReplyDeleteI have had this for years and keep it always near so I can review it. There is so much confusion out there on what to do and what not to do that is put under the title of ministry. I am a simple woman so need the simplicity of this to bring me back to what is important to God. Thanks Bill for your comment. Blessings brother.

Thanks Floyd...you are so right, He loves us giving Him glory even when no one sees what we do. And right on brother as far as society goes...doing the right thing even when it cost is a lost art. We live in an , "it's all about me society"...God help us to keep our eyes on Him so we can do the ministry He has called us all to.
