Lifeline

What or who are you trusting today for that trial in your life.  Our faith is built through the storms in our life.   Try as we may we cannot calm the storm but God can calm us through the storm.  Who is your lifeline today?

  5. Bill this couple was home recently, that little daughter had to have more test for her kidney problem and surgery. The Mom is from new Ireland, Dad was the US. Due to visa issue she had to go back to New Ireland during some of the daughter medical trial. Finally they were all together again and able to go back into their work. Great couple, strong faith even though everything has been thrown at them. The song I posted a couple weeks ago, Even Though comes to my mind as I hear from them. As for the pilots who fly into those village she is so right, they truly are a life line for tribal missionaries. Blessings brother

  7. Ceil, their young daughter will have to have future surgery for her kidneys as she grows. It has just been in the last couple years that the gospel exploded into the hearts of the people...many are saved. at this time they are teaching disciple ship to these new believers. So for them to see this missionary couple walk by faith and understand prayer was such a lesson for them. They people love this little girl in the village. Beautiful family, great God.

  9. Excellent story. The world and all that is in it sits in the hands of our Father… Whom shall we fear? Moreover, Whom shall we put our faith in? Anything else is only sinking sand.

  11. Hi Betty,

I'm peeking back in. Thanks for your reflections on our lifeline in the storms of life, and Diane's ruminatings during a transition of identity. I went through an aspect of that identity wrestling about two and a half years ago when I stepped down from a job I had held at our church for 14 years. It was odd to sort through all that.

    Have a great week,

  12. Floyd, TC and Jennifer I am so glad you like the film clip. I never get tired of watching this kind of encouragement. Some would say, how can you risk your daughter life by taking her to such remote places with her health issues. One thing that stands out to me is God is not hindered by remote places. Thanks for stopping by my site.
